Saturday 18 March is UN Elimination of Racial Discrimination Day. Stand Up To Racism and the Trade Union Congress have organised demonstrations in London and Glasgow on Saturday 18th March, and in Cardiff on Sunday 19th March. Plus they will be internationally linked online with demonstrations around the world. We’re proud to announce we will be adding our voices as ARC in Glasgow, and we hope you will join us too.

This will be our first public protest as Anti Racist Cumbria and we would love to have you with us. Racism is an ever present danger, and right now we are seeing a rise in Far-Right terrorism and indoctrination at the same time as we see worrying bills in parliament that increase police powers, criminalise communities and quash our ability to protest. It is vital we keep anti-racist momentum in these times.
Anti Racist Cumbria volunteers, friends and supporters are attending the Glasgow march. Join us there!!
We have booked a coach which will be picking up from (and dropping off to) 3 locations:
7.00am Kendal Leisure Centre, LA9 7HX
7.40am Penrith Bus Station, CA11 7TP
8.10am Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, CA3 0ET.
The coach will leave Glasgow back to Cumbria at approx 6pm.
