Report Racism in Cumbria

The form below aims to help us capture information about racism happening in Cumbria.

Why are we doing this? We know that racism is happening in Cumbria. We also know it’s often not being reported officially or if it is, it’s not always dealt with adequately by employers, the police or local authority. We want to record the true extent of racism in Cumbria so that it can no longer be ignored.

What happens to the information: Your personal details (email address) are kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone unless there is exceptional risk to your safety.  We will use the information about the incident to inform our work in tackling racism and to challenge organisations tasked with dealing with hate crime and preventing racism, to do better.

By filling in this form you are not reporting a hate crime, or reporting racism to the police: it is not an official report. If you need to report an incident to the police you can do so here. If you need any support you can email us hello@antiracistcumbria.org

The Form: This is a short form taking less than 5 minutes to complete.

It does not ask for any information regarding the details of the incident. This is because:

 – we are trying to capture information about how many incidents are happening and where, not what actually happened.

–  we are very aware that reliving these experiences is traumatic, and this is not our intention. We have a policy at ARC that we don’t share these experiences over and over again and we don’t expect you to either.
