22nd June 2023 marks 75 years since HMT Empire Windrush arrived in the UK, carrying over 1,000 passengers from the West Indies. It was a turning point in British and global history. You can find out more about its significance in our article here.
To commemorate this special anniversary we are hosting a special live streamed evening of conversation with descendants of the Windrush generation who have a Cumbrian connection.
