Over the weekend some of our amazing ARC volunteers took part in the second ARC Supporter Sticker Day. Our brilliant teams in Ambleside, Penrith, Kendal, Whitehaven, Carlisle and Appleby were tasked with visiting local businesses and asking them to show their support by putting up one of our ‘Anti Racist Cumbria Supporter’ window stickers.
We were absolutely blown away by the welcome we received!
123 fantastic shops, pubs, restaurants and independent Cumbrian businesses put up our stickers without hesitation. This brings our total number of supporter businesses to 195!
We know that our aim to make Cumbria the UK’s first anti-racist county is going to take a lot of hard work, but weekends like this make us feel like it’s within our reach.
